Report on an Outbreak of Cholera in the Rajmehal Jail

This man had previously suffered for upwards of three weeks from dysentery, by which his health had been greatly shattered, and he was much emaciated and weak. He was admitted into hospital on the morning of the 24th instant, and soon after passed into a state of collapse, under which he lingered for three days. He died on the night of the 26th instant, at 11 p.m. All these were very virulent attacks, just as could be expected at the commencement of an epidemic.
